Work at the Bingham Loop was completed as part of a multi-year retainer with the TTC that included design and services during construction for almost 19,000 m2 of parking lot rehabilitation and expansion, condition surveys, and stormwater-management assessments at six facilities in Toronto. CFA modernized the facility, which came into being in 1922, so that it could accommodate the circulation of both buses and streetcars and be more accessible for riders through improved platforms. Through a realignment of the tracks, we also reduced the noise from streetcars that was affecting neighbouring residences.
